Tony Ventura, M.O.M., is the Interim Senior Director of Strategy, Innovation and Technology Services at Peel Regional Police, leading cybersecurity and digital transformation for one of Canada's largest municipal police services. With more than 30 years of IT experience — all of it in policing, and the last decade focused on cybersecurity — he holds the CCISO, CISSP, CISM, and CRISC designations. Tony has also taught the ‘Cybercrime and Cybersecurity’ course at Sheridan College, where he also authored the course curriculum. In 2023, he was appointed a Member of the Order of Merit of the Police Forces by the Governor General of Canada for his contributions to Canadian policing.
