Ryan Bachman serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer, responsible for Global Cybersecurity, Enterprise Resiliency, Operational Sustainability, Global Real Estate, Personnel Security, Safety, and Investigations for GM Financial, GM Financial Bank, and GM Insurance Company. In his role, Ryan reports to the CEO of GM Financial with quarterly reporting to the General Motors Board of Directors. Prior to joining GM Financial in 2017 as SVP-CISO, Ryan spent more than 12 years serving Fortune 500 companies across numerous industries as a management consultant at PwC and Deloitte, specializing in technology integration, cybersecurity, and operations management.

Ryan earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a major in Management Information Systems, from Saint Louis University. Ryan earned his Master of Business Administration from Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a focus in Financial Engineering and Operations Management. Ryan has obtained his CISSP, CISA, ACAMS, and HiTrust Certified Assessor professional certifications.

Ryan is an active board member and advisor for multiple tech and AI startups, as well as nonprofits in the Dallas-Fort Worth community supporting youth education and shelters for women and children. Ryan also serves as an advisor for multiple venture capital funds.
